Sarah Rivero Khandjian is the owner and creative director of Sarah Hearts, the label and notion brand. Sarah is the daughter of a print expert and graphic designer and has always had a love for art, design and all things crafty. She was raised in Miami, got her BFA in graphic design in Tallahassee, spent time in Los Angeles and now proudly calls the mountains of Black Mountain, North Carolina her home.

She started Sarah Hearts in 2006 with a line of handmade bags made from vintage fabrics and hand screen printed apparel. In 2008 she launched her blog sharing DIY tutorials and digital downloads. Her love of sewing and attention to detail lead her to release her products in 2020. Now she creates unique notions for sewists, quilters, knitters, crocheters and makers of all experience levels through her cheerful designs and beautiful use of color.
